The Hallmark Channel has bought the rights to air M*A*S*H. Starting in 2003, FX will no longer air M*A*S*H episodes, so if your cable provider doesn't offer Hallmark, now's the time to ask for it.

M*A*S*H 30th Anniversary Reunion
Fox will air a 2-hour "MASH: 30th Anniversary Reunion" special on May 17 at 8 p.m. According to TV Guide, the show reunites cast members Alan Alda, Mike Farrell, Wayne Rogers, Loretta Swit, Gary Burghoff, Harry Morgan, Jamie Farr, David Ogden Stiers, William Christopher and Allan Arbus, as well as producers Gene Reynolds, Larry Gelbart and Burt Metcalfe.

Season 2 Release
FOX has announced that M*A*S*H season 2 will be released on VHS and DVD in May 2002. We'll post an update as soon as it's available for advance ordering. Season 1 is now shipping.

M*A*S*H Season 1 and Movie VHS
Fox will release the M*A*S*H TV series first season on VHS format in addition to the already announced DVD release. M*A*S*H Season 1 is available in a 3-tape box set and also as three separate volumes: "M*A*S*H: The TV Series, Season 1, Volume 1" contains episodes 1 through 8, Season 1, Volume 2 contains episodes 9 through 16, and Season 1, Volume 3 contains episodes 17 through 24. Finally, FOX will release a new "Special Edition" VHS version of the 1970 M*A*S*H movie at the same time. For DVD versions see the Shop page. All the VHS and DVD releases are due out January 8 and are now available for advance ordering.

Details from the FOX announcement: This 2-disc set includes a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, English 2.0 stereo and English and French mono tracks, audio commentary with Robert Altman, "AMC Backstory," "The Story of M*A*S*H," "M*A*S*H: History Through the Lens," and "M*A*S*H Reunion" featurettes, a film restoration demo, still gallery, trailers, and an easter egg."
