This Privacy Policy describes how joehollywood.com (the "Site," "we," "us," or "Joe Hollywood") collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit the Site, join The League, watch or purchase through our Whatnot shows, or otherwise interact with us.

COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and the information necessary to process your purchases or membership sign-up. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to any information that can uniquely identify an individual (including the information below) as "Personal Information." See below for what Personal Information we collect and why.

Device information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, what pages or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.
  • Purpose of collection: to load the Site accurately for you and perform analytics on Site usage to optimize our Site.
  • Source of collection: collected automatically when you access our Site using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, or pixels.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify.

Order information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
  • Purpose of collection: to fulfill our contract with you, process your payment, arrange shipping, provide invoices and order confirmations, communicate with you, screen orders for potential risk or fraud, and — when in line with your preferences — provide you with information or advertising about our products, drops, or shows.
  • Source of collection: collected from you.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify.

Membership information ("The League")

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, email address, phone number, billing information, and tier/membership status.
  • Purpose of collection: to administer your League membership, deliver member benefits and perks, process recurring billing, and communicate League updates.
  • Source of collection: collected from you when you sign up for The League.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify and any membership/subscription platform used to administer The League.

Live-show / Whatnot information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: username, order and shipping details, and communications made through Whatnot's platform in connection with our live shows.
  • Purpose of collection: to fulfill orders placed during our Whatnot shows and coordinate shipping.
  • Source of collection: collected from Whatnot when you purchase during one of our shows.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: Whatnot is a separate platform with its own privacy policy and terms. Buyer contact information provided through Whatnot (including relay/aliased emails) is used only to fulfill your Whatnot order and is not used for off-platform marketing. Customer support information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, address, phone, email.
  • Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.
  • Source of collection: collected from you.

MINORS

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

SHARING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you. For example:

We may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For example:

We use your Personal Information to provide our services, including offering products for sale, administering The League, processing payments, shipping and fulfilling orders, and keeping you up to date on new products, drops, shows, and offers.

Lawful basis (GDPR) If you are a resident of the European Economic Area ("EEA"), we process your Personal Information under the following lawful bases:

  • Performance of a contract between you and us;
  • Compliance with our legal obligations;
  • Protection of your vital interests;
  • Performance of a task carried out in the public interest;
  • Our legitimate interests, where these do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

RETENTION

When you place an order or join The League through the Site, we retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase it. See "Your Rights" below.

AUTOMATIC DECISION-MAKING

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (including profiling) that has a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud, which does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you. This includes:

  • A temporary deny list of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions (persists for a small number of hours).
  • A temporary deny list of credit cards associated with deny-listed IP addresses (persists for a small number of days).

YOUR RIGHTS
